Courtney came up to visit with her sweet baby Stella and we had some fun with off-camera lighting. I’m usually a natural light girl, particularly with babies and children, but I’m pretty happy with how these turned out.  And Stella was the absolute bestest model

This first one, the bare flash was laying on the ground behind her set to 1/128 power, shooting at f2.8, 1/200, ISO 100.

And here Courtney was holding the bare flash about 45 degrees to my right, set 1/32 power, shooting at f5.6, 1/250, ISO 100

I seriously have the best clients!  Dave and Diann were so easy to work with; laid back, down to earth and totally cute with each other!   They are getting married at the beautiful new W hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, so we took some shots in their amazing “lobby”, which they call the Living Room.  It’s such a cool space and the entire hotel is absolutely beautiful.

I told them to look at each other and discuss who’s the bigger dork   Pretty dorktastic right?

Dave wasn’t so sure about doing the dip, but I think he rocked it!

This one makes me laugh.  Vegetables or Cigarettes?

I’m amazed this even happened!  We started at The W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale (they’re getting married there) and it was a crazy South Florida tropical storm outside.  The rain finally slowed to a drizzle, so we headed across the street to the beach and then headed to a little old school Ft. Lauderdale beach neighborhood. Dave and Diann were completely awesome, were up for any of my crazy suggestions and rocked it for the camera   Thanks you guys!  I had a lot of fun and am loving the photos we got.  I had a hard time narrowing down the ones I wanted to blog, so I’m going to have post another set tomorrow
