I love adrenaline. In any form. I grew up doing every sport imaginable and finally settled on ski racing at age 12. Adrenaline rush doesn’t even begin to cover it when you’re barreling down the front face of Crested Butte at 80 miles per hour. I got pulled over driving home from the race that day. How do you drive slower than you ski? (mom, if you’re reading this, I’ve slowed down – promise!)
What does that have to do with photography? And weddings?
Everything.
I get that same rush when I have the camera in my hand. There’s magic that happens when you look through and press the shutter. Entire stories can be told in a single image. And a lifetime of moments can be captured on a single wedding day or a day at the beach with a two year old. Ordinary and once-in-a-lifetime moments turned into magic with the single press of a shutter. Yeah, that’s adrenaline.
