I shot Leslie and Devan’s engagement session on the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk this weekend. It’s such a throwback to the old school Florida. I love it. They were totally relaxed in front of the camera and I had a great time. They’ll be getting married at the Ritz Carlton this fall.
I love the light in the morning so of course I get excited when a couple is willing to get up early and do a morning engagement session. I met Michelle & Nick out in the Everglades where they quickly figured out that I had no idea where I was going. No matter, we found some pretty spots anyway. Then we finished the session with a walk down Las Olas in downtown Fort Lauderdale. And warning, Michelle has ridiculously beautiful eyes.
The Deering Estate is an absolutely beautiful place for a romantic engagement session. Ely & Chris did not need much prompting to get romantic for the camera. And yes, they do hold weddings at this place too. Wouldn’t this be a cool spot to get married?
