Reflecting on 2009, I am so grateful to all the awesome people I’ve met because of my camera. Picking my favorite images from the year was so hard! I could easily add 30 more. Thank you all for trusting me to capture the important moments in your lives. I’ve loved every second of it and I can’t wait to see what 2010 brings.

I’ve been excited about this wedding for months and I finally got to meet the bride & groom yesterday. They are gorgeous, awesome, and fun fun fun Their wedding is going to be intimate – just a select group of friends and family with the ceremony being held at probably the most beautiful beach in Florida. It was so fun meeting you guys last night! Hope you girls enjoyed being pampered at PGA National today and the boys caught lots of fish! Can’t wait to spend your amazing day with you tomorrow.

I think any photographer will tell you that working on a thematic project is a challenging and rewarding experience. Beyond the success of the images created for the project, the process can really stretch your creative muscles and make your other work stronger as well. I’ve been running this idea of “Reflections of Childhood” around in my mind for a while now, so I thought it was time to put an image out there. The final project title will change once I settle on a more concrete direction within the broad topic of reflections. I think it’s important to let something like this develop organically to allow your creativity to be the impetus.
