I love these two. They are so stinking cute with how in love they are. Their wedding day ran a bit late (apparently some missing pants were the culprit) so we didn’t have as much time as we had planned for their portraits. So I suggested a Day After session. J+S, thank you for always bringing the awesomesauce and making my job super easy. If I could clone you guys and make you get married again and again, I would.

Jen and I met when we worked together years ago in Woburn. I lived in Gloucester then. I knew instantly that we would be friends. Some people you just click with immediately. One of those friendship-at-first-sight deals. Last weekend, Jen married the love of her life in a beautifully intimate and personal wedding ceremony.

Every detail at their picnic-style wedding was crafted by a close friend or family member. Jen’s mom made adorable blue bridesmaid’s dresses. A friend performed a ceremony so touching and personal he had everyone in tears. Another friend made the most amazing BBQ pork. Jen’s sister painted signs for months. And everyone came together to decorate, cook and do whatever else needed to be done to make things perfect for Jen + Al’s wedding day. They were married at the YMCA camp in Gloucester, MA on Independence Day. Fitting; Al is in the National Guard and will be going to Afghanistan for a year at the end of this month.

The day was filled with tears, laughter, friendship, fun and above all, an overabundance of love. It was everything a wedding day should be.

Jen & Al, thank you for inviting me to be a part of your day. I’m so so happy I got to be a part of it. I love you. You rock.

Jacqueline & Sean got married in West Palm Beach last weekend and it was a blast! There were tears and love and laughter. Can you ask for anything more? I couldn’t help but tear up when Jacqueline walked down the aisle with her dad and again when Sean danced with his mom. And I couldn’t help but laugh when they danced back down the aisle to “I got a feeling” and then their parents and even grandparents joined in. Classic. Thank you to both of your families for an amazing time. Courtney Ortiz covered the wedding with me, so some of the shots below are hers. She’s awesome.

Dave & Diann were married last Saturday at the beautiful W Hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Diann’s dress was spectacular and I can’t even talk about the shoes. They are beyond awesome. I love how everything was so modern and elegant and that they chose to celebrate the day with a close group of family and friends. And my good friend and awesome photographer, Courtney Ortiz, shot the wedding with me, so some of the photos below are hers.

Just a couple of shots from the wedding I second shot with Laura Leslie Photography last weekend. It was such a fun and funny wedding. One of those where I am left thinking, wow, these people would be fun to have as friends. Oh and if you’re looking for a cool venue in West Palm, definitely check out the National Croque Center.
