I am so so giddy to have one of my photos featured on The Maternal Lens as the shot of the day yesterday!  It’s an awesome blog and they have some really great tips written in a way that everyone can understand.  Thank you Maternal Lens for the feature.  I am truly honored and grateful!

Tristan - Dear Kat,

Thanks for sharing your photos. I’m an old school amateur photographer and I really love the realism in your photos. Digital photography is a technology to be embraced. But it can only record what the photographer sees. The primary talent of a photographer more so now than with 35mm) is “having the eye.”
