I had the best time shooting this beautiful Jewish wedding at the Biltmore in Coral Gables.

For the film geeks these were shot with Hasselblad 500cm + Fuji 800z (1st and 3rd shot); Eos 3 + 50 1.2 + Fuji 400h (the two side by side photos); Hasselblad 500cm + Ilford Delta 3200 (dancing) and Portra 160 pushed 2 stops for the last photo.

There’s so much I could say about this incredibly special day, but I think I’m better off letting the photos tell the story. I do have to tell you that this wedding had the best wedding crashers I’ve ever seen (you can see one in the second to last photo above). Taylor and Mike, I love you! I am so happy to call you both friends.

The day was meticulously planned by the amazing Kasey D Weddings and was held at Bonnette Hunt Club. If you’re looking for something different, I highly recommend checking this place out.

There’s no bigger compliment than a family hiring you again to shoot their 2nd daughter’s wedding. I absolutely adored this family the first time around and I was so excited when Amanda contacted me to shoot her wedding at the incredible Bonnet House. It’s always a treat to work at one of my favorite venues, but then you get a couple that’s funny and smart (we’re talking genius level smart here) and goofy and completely adorable and that’s what makes it special. Great venues are a wonderful thing, but at the end of the day, it’s about the people. Unique, beautiful, emotional, messy people.
