Sally and Dave got married at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park in Key West on a perfect December day. I honestly can’t think of a better place to be in December than the Keys. They live in the DC area and picked it without every visiting. I followed Sally’s Pinterest board for months before the wedding and I knew what she was planning would be perfect for the Keys. And it was. The reception was held on a huge catamaran and we spent the late afternoon sailing with dolphins jumping around the boat. We even got the quintessential Key West sunset followed by a gorgeous full moon. It was a perfect, laid-back, destination wedding.

Kat! Oh Kat! I am doing one of these this weekend and you just made me so excited! I was so happy to have a couple that wanted to do a personal shoot like this. Your couple is going to look back on this and be able to see exactly where they were at that point in their life. It’s something so special and unique and I’m so happy that more and more photographers are starting to do this. Beautiful way of exposing their personal life, without exposing them.
