David & Diann Engaged | Fort Lauderdale Wedding Photographer

David & Diann are getting married at the gorgeous W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale this June and I cannot wait! This hotel is the epitome of cool. Their engagement session was super cool and I had a great time. Diann is fabulous and brought 4 – yes 4!! - pairs of shoes. How much do I love that? My feet were living through hers vicariously since mine are so horribly swolen from being with child (sounds better than pregnant right?) that I can’t wear anything but flip flops. But hands down the best part of the session was at the end when we were shooting at a closed down fire station. We’re doing our thing and a public servant pulls up in his official car all set to grill us about what we’re doing there. That’s when David pulls out his badge. The guy goes, oh ok, and drives away. How cool is that!?

Erica & Dan Engaged | South Florida Wedding Photographer

I met up with Erica, Dan, their cutie pie Maltese and Erica’s aunt at the Juno Beach Pier on a cold South Florida day. And by cold I mean about 70 degrees. You gotta love winter in South Florida. Although I have to admit I miss the snow and the real cold this time of year. Christmas without snow is still so odd to me. Erica and Dan totally rocked it in front of the camera, even though they insisted they weren’t photogenic. Umm, hello, check out the hotness below! I think my camera was in love with their love and the light; what a great afternoon. And Erica’s aunt was too cool helping out with their doggy and she had some great posing ideas too. I may have to have her come along on all my sessions!

A cool garden, Worth Avenue and the beach. Throw in some skateboarding and you’ve got one happy photographer. Jacqueline and Sean said they didn’t photograph well. Do you believe them? I sure don’t. The engagement session was so much fun and they were so easy on my camera. Doesn’t get much better Their wedding is June 12 – can’t wait!
