Could these two be any cuter? I met up with Kavita and Tarun at the fabulous Setai Hotel in South Beach. If you’re ever down there, be sure to stop by and sample one of their delicious drinks. Kavita and I both tried the Passion Fruit and Chili Pepper Martini – yum! Now I don’t normally drink at a client session (or wedding) but we had to buy drinks so we could shoot there. Then we headed to Miami’s Design District and finished the evening on Key Biscayne. They were so easy to photograph – relaxed, in love and wearing super cute clothes. I think Tarun’s shoes might be some of the coolest I’ve ever seen and I do love my shoes!

They’ll be back on the blog soon . . . I’m shooting their engagement ceremony in a few weeks.

Jill & Brett Are Engaged | South Florida Wedding Photographer

Jill & Brett’s engagement session almost didn’t happen because of . . . well, you know, rain. But that’s South Florida in the summer for you. So we brought umbrellas, found some cover, and worked it out! And we laughed and laughed. I should record these sessions, because some of these conversation are too funny not to share! Thank you guys for being awesome, gorgeous and funny! I am one lucky girl. Seriously. Best. Clients. Ever.

Back to School with Matt & Rachael | Fort Lauderdale Wedding Photographer

I love shooting in completely new locations and just walking around and finding light and great angles and lines. Sometimes I’ll scout new spots ahead of time, but I really love going in without any specific ideas and just being in the moment with my peeps, the place and the light. Matt and Rachael were inspi-rad (ha ha, I’m a dork). Seriously though, they were so relaxed in front of the camera that they made it way too easy for me. We started downtown in Fort Lauderdale and then finished at Nova High School where they met. Isn’t that the sweetest thing? High school sweethearts always make me feell all warm and gooey inside.

I can’t wait to shoot their November wedding in South Beach! I was so honored that they picked me to be their photographer. Matt works in advertising in New York and sees portfolios from photographers all the time, so I was really happy that they loved my style. Thanks guys! I had an absolute blast with you both.

Dave & Diann Engagement, Part 2 | South Florida Wedding Photographer

I seriously have the best clients! Dave and Diann were so easy to work with; laid back, down to earth and totally cute with each other! They are getting married at the beautiful new W hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, so we took some shots in their amazing “lobby”, which they call the Living Room. It’s such a cool space and the entire hotel is absolutely beautiful.

I told them to look at each other and discuss who’s the bigger dork Pretty dorktastic right?

Dave wasn’t so sure about doing the dip, but I think he rocked it!

This one makes me laugh. Vegetables or Cigarettes?
