A little man in town for a wedding

This little cutie and his family were in town for the wedding I shot last yesterday (can’t wait to blog that!). We met up a couple of days before to get some relaxed family shots around Fort Lauderdale. Don’t you just want to cuddle him?

I met up with Sowmya, Krishna, Ashwin and Ashwin’s grandparents at John MacArthur State Park this past Sunday and spent a lovely afternoon capturing their beautiful family. Ashwin is a complete doll and hammed it up for my camera I can’t believe that I’ve lived here this long and never been to this park. It is such a beautiful place and a wonderful glimpse into what coastal Florida looked like a hundred years ago. We even spotted some flamingos in the distance on our walk back across the boardwalk.

Thank you guys so much for spending a few hours with me and being so relaxed and comfortable! I truly have the best clients.

Baby Makes Three | West Palm Newborn Photographer

Last month I had the honor of photographing my friend’s (and fellow photographers) brand new baby boy. Rebekah & Ben Hood are a fabulous husband and wife wedding photography team and their brand new little angel is the sweetest little boy. He’s got awesome hair and the cutest cheeks you’ve ever seen. We started with some shots at their home and then headed to Babies ‘R’ Us to attempt a crazy idea I had without getting kicked out of the store (success!). We had plans to continue at a local park, but the crazy South Florida weather had other ideas. But yay for me, because I get to hang with them again when we do the second half of their session soon. Love you guys! Thanks for your patience during my blogging hiatus.

I commandeered one of those huge ladders to stand on to get this shot, so Ben had to go distract the sales lady so we wouldn’t get busted

And here’s that crazy weather I mentioned . . . it was almost hurricane-like.

Oh what an awesome session I had yesterday in Hollywood with this amazingly beautiful family. They were gorgeous, their apartment was amazing and they were relaxed! So needless to say I had a blast and am absolutely thrilled with the photos we got. We got rained out a little at the end, but we rocked on anyway And then I got to taste their coffee . . . from their own farm in Kona! It was the kind of coffee that stays smooth no matter how strong you brew it. A coffee addict’s paradise. And chocolate covered strawberries and graham crackers to top it all off. All in all, radtastic in every way

Alohi had these gorgeous green chairs in her living room and I loved the color of them, but couldn’t resist this one in b&w.

Aren’t they adorable?

I can’t completely explain why, but this one is my fave.

I love photographing families and capturing the uniqueness that each family brings. And doing sessions at Blowing Rocks in Jupiter doesn’t hurt for capturing some crazy, dramatic photos. What a gorgeous place it is . . . I feel so lucky to live here. Mike & Meghan – we loved seeing you guys!! This session almost didn’t happen because of the windy & stormy weather, but I’m sure glad we waited for a completely gorgeous morning. Joyce & Tony have absolutely beautiful and charming children and we had so much fun playing around on the beach and walking the dunes. Jasper wasn’t too sure about the beach at first but he warmed up to it pretty quick. Summer loved collecting shells and giving them to her brother to throw in the water. They were fun, friendly and completely comfortable in front of the camera. My kind of session! Thanks so much for hanging out with me guys. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Just before I left for Colorado, our good friends Kevin & Diana and family celebrated Dylan’s first birthday. I’ve done several sessions with little Dylan . . . he was in mom’s belly the first time I took his picture, so of course I had to get a couple at his first Birthday Party. I’ve got a few more for you guys that you’ll get on your CD. We still need to do a full family session with all 3 boys!!

The Toddlers Part 2 | Jupiter Child Photographer

I finally finished all the edits and the CD for my good (and very patient) friend Alison. Vacations really get in the way of productivity But my two week trip to Colorado did get me some great shots and my dad even got a video of me getting a few of the extreme skiing photos that I’ll be sharing soon.

Alison got me the coolest gift as a thank you for these photos! A lens bag called a shootsac that I’ve really fallen in love with. It makes changing lenses during a shoot so seamless and easy. Thank you, thank you, thank you Ali! I love it and have already gotten so much use out of it.

Kids always give the best expressions!
