Jade + Santiago | National Hotel South Beach Wedding

This wedding was pure awesomeness. I know that word gets thrown around a lot with little meaning, but in this case it’s pure truth. Jade is half Venezuelan and half Greek, and Santiago is Argentinian. They brought different parts of their heritage into their wedding and it made it such a unique celebration. They did an Argentine Tango as their first dance, had Greek, Argentinian and Spanish food, then all of the guests learned how to do a country line dance (as a nod to Jade’s father’s side of the family) and a Greek Wedding Dance called the Kaslamantiano. Dancing and music is really important to them, so they had a DJ and a Latin Band. As you can imagine the dance floor was packed the entire night. Oh yeah, and those Hookah’s have fruit flavored tobacco in them. (honest, I tried it!).

The Baptism After-Party at the Viceroy Hotel in Miami

After the baptism, the crowd headed over to the fabulous Viceroy Hotel on Brickel Avenue in Miami. What a cool spot! The party was held up on a rooftop patio area called the “Fireplace”. I think it’s safe to say everyone had a great time. I highly recommend the Viceroy! Very cool and unique architecture and style and the food was absolutely fabulous.

One of the ladies I photographed during the Fred Astaire Jupiter Showcase also hired me to take some studio shots of her and two of the professional dancers from the studio. We had a blast! Let me tell you, it was hard to get these fierce looks because we were having so much fun Gail, Warren & Vladi – you were awesome!! And special thanks to Gabi for helping with the poses. A dancer I most definitely am not, but I sure love watching it! Gail had someone take video of the session, so I’ll post more once I get the video edited.
