2010 has been a crazy, incredible, ridiculous year. I am so blessed by each and every person that trusted me to capture some of the most important moments of their lives. I had such a fun afternoon with these two incredibly gorgeous people. When Elizabeth mentioned she had brought a dress to go into the ocean in, I was giddy. I love when clients want to get adventurous for their photos because we always end up with something completely unique and unexpected. I can’t wait for their December wedding at the charming Jupiter Beach Resort.

Dave & Diann were married last Saturday at the beautiful W Hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Diann’s dress was spectacular and I can’t even talk about the shoes. They are beyond awesome. I love how everything was so modern and elegant and that they chose to celebrate the day with a close group of family and friends. And my good friend and awesome photographer, Courtney Ortiz, shot the wedding with me, so some of the photos below are hers.

The Deering Estate is an absolutely beautiful place for a romantic engagement session. Ely & Chris did not need much prompting to get romantic for the camera. And yes, they do hold weddings at this place too. Wouldn’t this be a cool spot to get married?

I spent last weekend with Tarun and Kavita’s family friends while they got officially engaged. Following the engagement ceremony on Saturday, Tarun’s parents hosted an engagement party on Sunday. What a good time I had! The dancing they are doing is called Bhangra and I believe that’s how K & T met.

I shot this intimate wedding the day after Christmas with the fabulous Sara Kauss. The couple was relaxed, the wedding was beautiful and working with Sara was so much fun! I could not have asked for a better day. Thank you Sara for the opportunity to shoot this with you (and for the Starbucks!!) Check out Sara’s blog post on this lovely affair.

By the way, the Harbor Beach Marriott in Fort Lauderdale is such a beautiful place to get married! I highly recommend it.
