West Palm Beach Wedding Photographer, Jupiter Wedding Photographer, Palm Beach Wedding Photographer Kat Braman » wedding photography http://www.katbramanphotography.com Tue, 07 Feb 2012 06:06:59 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.3.1 SoFly Bridal Portraits | South Florida Wedding Photographer http://www.katbramanphotography.com/sofly-bridal-portraits-south-florida-wedding-photographer/ http://www.katbramanphotography.com/sofly-bridal-portraits-south-florida-wedding-photographer/#comments Wed, 28 Oct 2009 20:20:18 +0000 Kat http://www.katbramanphotography.com/?p=1236 We had another amazing SoFly meetup this week, featuring two gorgeous models, two perfect dress, and two serendipitous bouquets.  Beka (of Kallima Photography) picked out two absolutely stunning dresses, generously loaned to us by Madame Butterfly that were absolutely perfect for the models, Emily and Babette.  Emily’s dress was a classic timeless beauty with lovely vintage detailing.  Babette’s was modern, stylish and a perfect fit for her uber-fabulous red shoes.   The bouquets were generously donated by Anna Flowers in Jupiter and Delray Beach Florist.  When I ordered them, I had no idea what the dresses looked like and told the florists to give us something non-traditional.  Let me tell you, these flowers could not have been a better fit for the dresses and our models if they had been custom ordered.  So a huge thank you to the vendors who made this possible, our lovely and talented models and to Beka for all of her hard work in putting this together.

We get together once a month to shoot and this past week was actually our first meetup! I created a slideshow of some of the images we createed. The show was created using David Jay’s ShowIt Web. Ladies, I had a blast and it was so interesting watching everyone’s different approach to posing and shooting. I learned so much from all of you and can’t wait to do it again. I gotta do better splitting my time between all the couples next time. Somehow I only ended up with a couple of shots of Rebekah & Mike, which I am really mad at myself about. All of your images are fabulous and I’m jealous I don’t have more shots of them for my portfolio. Also, I’m working on a line for a junkyard for a future meetup since I know we were all excited by that idea. I’ll keep you all posted on that.

I also want to thank our models: Adam & Diana, DC & Vanessa and Rebekah & Mike. All of you looked great and were so comfortable in front of the camera, it made it almost effortless to get great shots of you. I want to offer each of you an 8×10 of your favorite shot of mine. SoFly ladies, feel free to comment if you would like to do the same.
